i heart ... strawberry napoleons

i stayed with my sister stacy's children last weekend.
we started talking about french desserts
for some reason
(but who ever really needs a reason).
so what's the best aunt in the world to do
but jump on the computer
find a recipe
and make it!
these turned out very good
and everyone loved them!
they're a very light dessert,
and perfect for summer.
(too bad summer is over,
except that i'm sooooooooooo
happy summer is over!!!!!!!!)

strawberry napoleons

1 package uncooked won tons

whipped cream

fresh strawberries, sliced

olive oil spray

sugar, for sprinkling

preheat oven to 350 degrees.

spray baking sheet with olive oil spray.

line baking sheet with won tons.

spray won tons with olive oil.

sprinkle won tons with sugar.

bake won tons until golden brown,

about 8 minutes.

spoon a good amount of whipped cream

onto a baked won ton.

top with a 3 or 4 slices of strawberries.

repeat this with another baked won ton.

place the second prepared won ton

on top of the first.

top with plain baked won ton.

makes about 15 napoleons.

  1. That looks like such a fresh and yummy dessert!

  2. You are killing my diet! Oh, I can't wait to try these... in a few months.
